I collect only the personal data necessary to provide safe and effective services, including contact details and information relevant to enquiries or services requested. This data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties except where required by law or ethical obligation.

COOKIE POLICY

This website uses cookies to ensure the site functions properly and to improve user experience. Cookies may be used for basic analytics and website performance monitoring. You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings.

DATA RETENTION POLICY

Client records are retained for 7 years after the end of the therapeutic relationship, in line with professional insurance and ethical requirements. After this period, records are securely destroyed.

For children and young people, records are generally retained until the age of 25 (7 years after the age of 18) in line with safeguarding considerations and professional guidance. In some cases, where there are ongoing safeguarding concerns or clinical justification, records may be retained for a longer period in accordance with legal and professional requirements.

COMPLAINTS POLICY

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, I encourage you to contact me directly in the first instance so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.

If the issue cannot be resolved, you may contact my professional body, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), for further guidance or formal complaint procedures.

Concerns may also be raised with me directly so that they can be addressed appropriately.
